Recommended Dosage:

A recommended starting oral dose of this prescription – 20 mg, the data 4 times daily. The doze can be increased to 40 mg 4 times daily. A recommended intramuscular injection – 20 mg, 4 times daily.

Interactions:

Excessive anticholinergic effects can take place, when dicyclomine is incorporated with another drugs with anticholinergic effects such as clemastine (Tavist), diphenhydramine (Benadryl), promethazine (Phenergan), thioridazine (Mellaril), triflupromazine (Stelazine), protriptyline (Vivactil), clozapine (Clozaril), cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril), disopyramide (Norpace). The incorporated effects of them which drugs can conduct to the greater sphere of action of a dry mouth, visions blurred, confusion, agitation, have increased intimate norm, tremblings, a lock, uric detention (difficulty urinating). Drugs, for example, oxycodone (Percocet, Percodan), hydrocodone (Vicodin) can cooperate with dicyclomine and is terminated by the greater depression of muscles of a gut and a bubble, coming to an end the big lock, and the difficulty urinating than can be noticed with dicyclomine one.

Other potential side effects are included changes in perception of the taste, with swallowing difficulty, a headache, nervousness, drowsiness, weakness, dizziness, powerlessness, washing off, switching-off of difficulty, a nausea, vomitting, a rash, inflating and breath of difficulty.
